Overview We are seeking a Business Analyst / Agile Project Manager with 10+ years of experience driving the delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives within the insurance or financial services industry . The ideal candidate will partner with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, manage Agile processes, and ensure successful execution of strategic projects. Key Responsibilities Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements .
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams. Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
Develop and maintain project documentation such as user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and status reports. Support business transformation initiatives by identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies. Ensure timely communication of project updates, issues, and decisions to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Agile Project Manager, or similar hybrid role. Proven experience delivering technology or business transformation projects. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Experience in the insurance or financial services sectors , such as: Property & Casualty (P&C) Life & Annuities Banking Wealth Management Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment. Preferred Skills Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI‑ACP) Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Salary and Other Compensation The annual base salary for this position is between 110k - 126K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
