Role Overview
As an Agile Scrum Master, you will serve as a key liaison between business units, other agile teams, and the program team. This position focuses on the successful implementation of features by optimizing workflow and value delivery for a Workday project. You will work with business partners and application SMEs to identify and mitigate risks, manage timelines, and ensure the end‑to‑end delivery of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate agile ceremonies and manage dependencies for the team.
- Provide visibility into team plans and progress, enabling continuous improvement.
- Coach the team on work management tools and adherence to enterprise change standards.
- Work with analysts, developers, and testers to translate requirements and designs into working stories and test plans.
- Manage timelines and communicate feature status to the team, leadership, and business partners.
- Optimize the flow of stories and the value delivered by the agile team.
- Contribute to the delivery of end‑to‑end technology solutions.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master. Background with Workday projects is required.
Skills
- Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills.
- Ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communication.
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with an understanding of interpreting business needs into application requirements.
- Experience with various SDLC methodologies, including waterfall and agile.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Jira is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Enterprise Change Management Processes.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
- Proficiency with Jira Align, Confluence, Octane, MS Office, and SQL.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $70.00 and $73.94 per hour. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
