Agm Finance

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader (AGM Level), reporting directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Closing

• Lead general ledger operations, ensuring accurate accounting across revenue, expenses, accruals, provisions, and payroll.
• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures in compliance with Indian GAAP and global standards.
• Ensure robust balance sheet integrity through reconciliations (sub-ledgers, intercompany, and key schedules).

Accounts Payable & Compliance

• Lead and optimize the AP function, leveraging ERP-driven automation and efficiencies.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements (TDS, GST, payment governance).

Audit & Controls

• Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits end-to-end.
• Strengthen internal controls through periodic reviews, risk assessments, and governance enhancements.

Financial Reporting & Insights

• Deliver timely financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analysis.
• Provide actionable insights on cost, margins, and profitability to support business decisions.
• Partner in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

Transformation & Strategic Initiatives

• Drive finance transformation initiatives (ERP enhancements, standardization, cost optimization).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align finance with business strategy.
• Support strategic projects including M&A, entity structuring, and compliance initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 13+ years of experience in controllership and financial governance.
• Strong expertise in Indian GAAP, Companies Act, and direct/indirect taxation.
• Proven leadership in managing teams, stakeholders, and tight timelines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
