Anesthesiology Physician

Shift Details:

• Monday through Friday
• 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
• No weekends, no call

Case Types:

• OB
• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• Urology
• GYN
• Cardiac (optional)
• Thoracic
• Vascular

Supervision Ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
Cardiac Cases: Performed independently
Operating Rooms: 10 locations daily, up to 20 rooms
Charting System: EMR (Meditech & Centricity)
Privileges: Estimated 2 4 weeks

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Medical management of patients undergoing surgery or other procedures
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
• Obtain and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks
• Administer induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patient s physiological condition
• Perform clinical interventions as needed

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX certification
