Field Applications Engineer – Motion Control & Automation (Bay Area, CA)

A U.S.-based motion systems manufacturer is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support customers in the Bay Area. The position focuses on providing technical assistance, product integration support, and field-based application development for motion control solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, installation, and troubleshooting support for motion systems and drives.
• Work directly with customers on system design, product selection, and integration.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to develop proposals and configurations.
• Conduct field visits, product demos, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to ensure customer needs are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in motion control, automation, or robotics.
• Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel within the Bay Area and occasionally outside the region.
• U.S. work authorization required.
