Assistant Director, Admissions Marketing and Operations
As a central member of the College of Engineering’s Graduate Programs Office (GPO), the Assistant Director of Admissions Marketing and Operations reports to the Director of Master’s Admissions and leads the implementation, marketing, and operational strategy for the new Online Master of Science in Software Engineering for Artificial Intelligence (OMSE). This role is responsible for directing all activities related to recruitment, selection, and yield for the OMSE program, with a particular emphasis on marketing strategy, data analysis, recruitment planning, and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation, marketing, and operational strategy for the OMSE program, overseeing recruitment, selection, and yield.
- Deliver a customer‑service driven admissions model and ensure a seamless, supportive experience for prospective and admitted students.
- Serve as liaison between GPO and Education Dynamics (EDDY), developing standard operating procedures, overseeing communications, and managing program‑specific admissions questions.
- Lead development, review, and approval of OMSE marketing and recruitment content used by EDDY, including email campaigns, landing page content, and enrollment coach scripts.
- Collect and analyze enrollment and recruitment data to inform decision‑making, build sustainable marketing communication and application processing models, and contribute to broader admissions initiatives within graduate engineering.
Qualifications and Requirements
- B.S./B.A. required.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Capability to develop and manage client relationships with a superior customer satisfaction focus.
- Proven ability to set and meet targets.
- Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, CRM management, report building, communication campaigns, and planning and executing virtual recruiting and yield events.
- Excellent at creating and presenting webinars and information sessions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑faceted, changing environment and willingness to work nights and weekends during critical recruitment periods.
