The Tyger is a full service South East Asian restaurant at 1 Howard St, the border of Soho and Chinatown. Opened in 2020 to much acclaim, our mission is to be New York City's most ambitious and celebrated contemporary Asian restaurant.
Job Description Overview
Drive a world class, best in category restaurant. Inspire and mentor a high performance front of house team. Connect, collaborate and increase productivity with back of house and front of house leadership.
Primary responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity of workplace and team culture
- Influence team productivity while committing to guest experience excellence
- Direct all hiring and training for the front of house team
- Uphold company food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff
- Work with Operations on execution and forecasting
- Facilitate a weekly leadership meeting with a focus on people development and business growth.
- Ensure all Tuxedo Hospitality policies, as stated in the employee handbook, are adhered to by all team members

What we’re offering

- Salary range of 80-90K per annum plus benefits
- Opportunities for advancement
- 15 days paid annual leave inclusive of annual salary. Annual leave is accrued pro rata and can be compensated after completion of a 90-day probationary period.
