Assistant Manager Compliance

IIHMR University is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Assistant Manager/Manager – Compliance to support the Finance & HR Department. The role involves preparing minutes of various committee meetings, ensuring regulatory and institutional compliance, coordinating with multiple departments, and maintaining structured compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end compliance and other applicable laws.
• Organize and manage Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and other including agenda preparation, notices, minutes, and resolutions.
• Handle statutory filings and returns of other regulatory authorities within prescribed timelines.
• Draft, review, and manage legal contracts, agreements, policies, and compliance documents.
• Liaise with government authorities such as the Tax and Labour Departments and other statutory bodies.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, legal advisors, bankers, and consultants.
• Maintain statutory registers, records, risk registers, and compliance trackers.
• Support senior management with compliance advisory and risk mitigation strategies.
• Handle any other compliance-related tasks assigned by management from time to time.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal documentation, regulatory processes, audits, or related administrative roles.
• Experience in EPF compliance.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, legal processes, and financial & HR regulations.
• Excellent drafting skills, especially for minutes and official communication.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to coordinate across departments and manage deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital documentation systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualification

• LLB/PG in Law from a recognized institution or CS .

Fresh Graduate from top ranking Law Institute (NIRF) are encourage to apply as Trainee.
