Role PurposeThe Assistant Manager - Fabrication will be responsible for managing day-to-day production operations in the fabrication unit, ensuring smooth functioning of machines, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing productivity. The role requires strong technical expertise in fabrication processes and hands-on problem-solving abilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily fabrication and production activities to meet output targetsEnsure smooth operation and maintenance of fabrication machineryPerform and supervise troubleshooting of bending machines and press machinesHandle and support OTC robotic welding programming and operationsMonitor laser cutting and tube cutting processes for efficiency and accuracyEnsure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and SOPsCoordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve technical issues promptlyOptimize machine utilization and reduce downtimeMaintain production reports, MIS, and documentationTrain and guide shop-floor operators for improved performance
Key Skills & Technical CompetenciesStrong knowledge of OTC Robotic Welding ProgrammingExpertise in Bending Machine TroubleshootingBasic understanding of Press Machine TroubleshootingKnowledge of Laser Cutting and Tube Cutting operationsUnderstanding of fabrication processes and production workflowsBasic knowledge of production planning and process improvement
Eligibility CriteriaEducation:Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
Experience:4-8 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing industryHands-on experience in welding, cutting, and forming processes
