Position Overview

The Assistant Sales Manager will play a key role in driving sales growth for Aluminium Expansion Joints (AEJ) and related industrial products. The role involves business development, client relationship management, and execution of sales strategies to support the company’s expansion objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support achievement of sales, revenue, and profitability targets within the assigned territory
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across:
• Contractors, Architects, Structural Consultants, PMCs, Government Projects, Hospitals, Airports, and Institutional sectors
• Assist in project execution through effective planning and coordination
• Engage in pre-sales activities, including product promotion before tender/enquiry stages
• Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals aligned with client requirements
• Ensure timely payment collections as per company policies
• Support new product launches and contribute to marketing strategies
• Participate in industry events, client meetings, and networking initiatives
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support sales strategies
• Contribute to team performance, motivation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering
• MBA in Marketing/Sales (preferred)
• 5–7 years of experience in:
• Industrial Product Sales
• Project Sales
• Capital Equipment / Machinery Tools
• Material Handling Equipment
• Construction Equipment

• Excellent presentation and written communication abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
