Assistant Superintendent / Cleaner

Foresight Recruitment Group is helping our client find an Assistant Superintendent / Cleaner for an apartment building in the Leaside neighbourhood of Toronto . This is a live-in role . This is a good job for someone who is reliable, hard-working, and takes pride in keeping a building clean and safe. You will be part of a great team and work in a friendly community with good schools. What You’ll Do: Clean hallways, stairs, lobbies, laundry rooms, entrances, and common areas Sweep and mop floors Vacuum carpets and runners Clean glass, doors, railings, ledges, and other surfaces Empty garbage and keep garbage areas clean Pick up litter around the property Help keep laundry rooms clean Report repairs, safety issues, or supply needs Help the Superintendent when needed Help with apartment showings when needed Help respond to building issues or emergencies Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, stairs, entrances, and walkways Put down salt when needed Snow removal is an important part of this job. Residents need safe sidewalks and entrances. Important to Know: This is a physical job . There are no elevators at the property. You must be able to: Walk up and down stairs Lift cleaning supplies and equipment Mop, sweep, vacuum, and clean for long periods Work outside in winter when snow needs to be cleared Stay active during the day What We’re Looking For: Reliable and dependable Friendly with residents Hard-working Good at cleaning Able to notice when something needs attention Comfortable doing physical work Able to follow instructions Proud of doing a good job Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, building work, or apartment buildings is helpful.
