Client Overview: Our client is a popular girls' fashion brand presenting the latest must-have apparel and accessories. This role is on-site 5 days a week in Long Island.

Technical Designer Responsibilities:

• Assist in technical design aspects for each collection.
• Measure garments accurately to identify fit issues and execute fit comments efficiently to stay on schedule with production.
• Participate in fit sessions, provide recommendations, note call-outs, and log critiques to address all issues effectively.
• Assist in providing grading guidelines to vendors post-fit approval to ensure quality and collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Approve samples for production after evaluating fit, measurement, pattern shaping, hanger appeal, and functionality.

Technical Designer Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of proven technical design experience.
• Experience in women's apparel is a plus.
• Strong follow-up skills are required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is essential.
