Associate Attorney – Litigation

Our client, a prestigious law firm with offices throughout the Northeast, has an immediate need for a Litigation Attorney, to join their winning team in Cherry Hill.

Insurance defense is preferable, but not required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage files from inception to trial
• Prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs and be involved in negotiating settlements
• Work closely with clients and claims partners to prepare timely reports on litigation
• Draft motions
• Appear in court
• Medical record review
• Client reporting

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Experience using Practice Master software highly preferred
• Ability to identify risk, review and assess medical records, depositions and other legal documents
• Able to work independently with strong attention to detail along with the ability to organize and prioritize workload working with an electronic diary
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with clients and customers and negotiate on their behalf
• Demonstrable track record of success in liability defense
• Experience and facility with medical records
• New Jersey Bar required.
