We have also launched new platform of Diketene & its value-added derivatives for multiple industry use. We are an established 'partner of choice' in CDMO, with more investment plans in GMP & Non-GMP multi-product facilities for Pharma, Agro and Semi-conductor customers.
Chemical Intermediates: The Chemical Intermediates business has acetic anhydride and value added anhydrides and aldehydes catering to various industries.
Nutrition & Health Solutions: The Nutrition & Heath Solutions business unit offers B3 & Picolinates (Chromium & Zinc) which are fully backward integrated. Our ingredients find application in animal nutrition, human nutrition, personal care, etc. We provide high-quality feed & food additives having application in poultry, dairy, aqua & pet food industry.
In Human Nutrition & Health Solutions, we offer food ingredients & premix solutions to nutrition.

Summary
The Vice President - Environment will lead the strategic direction and execution of environmental, health, and safety initiatives across all manufacturing and distillery operations. This role demands deep expertise in environmental legislation, compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence, ensuring alignment with global standards and business continuity
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Environmental LeadershipDevelop and implement environmental strategies and action plans to support sustainable growth.Drive innovation in environmental technologies and practices (ETPs, STPs, ZLD systems, MEE, ATFD).Lead cross-functional initiatives for compliance, resource optimization, cost reduction, and risk mitigation. Environmental Monitoring & ManagementOversee pollution monitoring across air, water, soil, and noise parameters including stack emissions, ambient air, groundwater, and surface water.Ensure continuous monitoring systems are operational and compliant.Manage hazardous and solid waste disposal, including fly ash utilization, red mud and lime grit reuse, and co-processing initiatives. Regulatory Compliance & LicensingOversee acquisition, renewal, and amendment of all environmental licenses.Ensure timely submission of statutory reports Lead inspections, audits and maintain proactive liaison with regulatory bodies.
Audit, Certification & ReportingMaintain documentation for Integrated Management Systems (IMS), sustainability frameworks, and internal MIS.Prepare and present environmental performance reports and GRI reporting to senior management. Environmental Projects & InfrastructureExecute infrastructure projects including rainwater harvesting, biogas plants, and nursery development.Conduct biodiversity studies and implement action plans with ecological experts. Stakeholder Engagement & CommunicationLiaise with state and central environmental regulators and industry associations.Draft responses to regulatory notices, public complaints, and stakeholder queries.Communicate environmental performance and corrective actions to internal and external stakeholders.
Training & Culture DevelopmentPromote environmental awareness campaigns and behavior-based safety culture.Deliver environmental and safety training programs across departments.Ensure training as per site matrix and statutory requirements. Operational Oversight & Performance ReviewReview environmental operations and ensure SOP adherence.Coordinate with manufacturing for production planning and environmental alignment.Monitor KPIs, plan corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement. Sustainability & Resource EfficiencyImplement sustainability frameworks and drive energy, water, and CO footprint reduction projects.Coordinate certifications for environmental, energy, and water excellence from recognized bodies.Develop and manage the annual environmental business plan, budget, objectives, and targets.
Qualifications & Experience:Master's degree in environmental science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.Minimum 18+ years of experience in EHS management, legal compliance, and environmental strategy.Proven leadership in regulatory compliance, project execution, and stakeholder engagement.Expertise in environmental technologies, monitoring standards, and techno-legal communication.
