Work you’ll doResponsibilities
Purpose of Job:Handle a spectrum of finance-related activities that include treasury, financial accounting and reporting, general ledger (“GL”), accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, audit and tax mattersParticipate in finance transformation projects
Principal Accountabilities:Handle day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including review of invoice coding, matching and billing, clearing of GL, checking payment status and monitoring the progress of invoice clearingLiaise with shared service team (“GFS”) and respective business unit (“BU”) to follow up and address BU’s queries, BU’s rejected / unmatched / missing invoice, and handle ServiceNow requestsHandle the timely preparation of month-end closing reports and schedulesPrepare InterFirm’s payment proposals, contra schedules and reconciliationsPrepare journal entries for reclassification, accruals, amortisation and reversalHandle GST and Withholding Tax Accounting, Reporting and FilingIdentify & drive continuous improvement of finance processesUndertake ad hoc duties/projects assigned from time to time

Requirements
Minimum Degree or Diploma in accounting or similar certification with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in FinanceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and is a team playerResourceful, meticulous, organised, independent and able to multi-task. Confident and comfortable with handling data and figuresRelish the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and can perform under pressureProficiency in Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of SAP HANA would be advantageous
