NXTGEN is delighted to be partnering with a growing and highly regarded accountancy practice in Bury St Edmunds to recruit an Audit Senior. This is an exciting time to join the firm, following a period of change, continued investment, and several well-earned internal promotions. As the firm continues to expand its presence and client base, they are now looking to strengthen their audit team with the addition of an experienced Audit Senior.This is a fantastic opportunity for an auditor who is looking for more than just a role but to be a part of something.

You'll work closely with Managers and Partners, take ownership of your own audit assignments, and play an integral role in delivering high-quality work across a diverse client base.
This is a role that offers real variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a genuine impact within a growing team.Key Responsibilities:Client point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships across a varied portfolioLead audit assignments from planning through to completionPrepare and review statutory accounts in line with current regulationsSupervise, train, and mentor junior team members, supporting their developmentWork closely with Managers and Partners, contributing to the overall success of the audit teamIdentify opportunities to improve processes and add value to client engagementsWhat We're Looking For:ICAEW, ACCA qualification or finalistPrevious experience within an accountancy practice, with strong audit exposureConfident working with a range of clients across different sectorsDemonstrated ability to lead audits and support junior staffExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with a diverse range of clientsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a firm at a really exciting stage in its journey, where you can make a genuine impact, develop your career, and be part of a supportive and collaborative environment.
