It’s mission is to add value by delivering quality services & solutions on time all the time by transforming processes & technology into business advantages.Job Summary: The Automation Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of Automation and IT capital projects within a cGMP-regulated environment.
This role serves as the technical lead, ensuring successful project implementation while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development, planning, and execution of Automation/IT capital projects from initiation through completion.Act as the technical lead, coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Validation, IT, and external vendors.Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for automation systems including PLCs, SCADA, DeltaV, and MES (e.g., Syncade).Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations, FDA requirements, and 21 CFR Part 11.Support and oversee Computer System Validation (CSV) lifecycle activities, including documentation and testing.Identify and manage project risks, issues, and change controls.Facilitate communication and alignment across stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and project closeout activities are completed.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.Experience managing automation and/or IT projects in regulated environments (pharma/biotech preferred).Strong knowledge of automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES).Experience with Computer System Validation (CSV) and regulatory compliance (cGMP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11).Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.PMP or similar certification is a plus.Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Location:Puerto Rico
