Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in the Microsoft Azure Data Ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable cloud-based data solutions to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure services
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Develop scalable data processing solutions using Azure Databricks and PySpark
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions including Azure Data Lake and Blob Storage
• Implement and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics
• Ensure data quality, governance, compliance, and security standards
• Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and flat files
• Collaborate with Power BI teams for reporting and visualization requirements
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and workflows
• Improve performance, scalability, and cost optimization of Azure data platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Data Lake & Blob Storage
• PySpark & SQL
• Experience in data modeling concepts such as Star Schema and Snowflake Schema
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and best practices
• Knowledge of data integration and transformation techniques
• Familiarity with REST APIs and data ingestion patterns
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
