Backend Engineer

📍 Location: New Delhi (On-site)

We are looking for a Backend + AI Engineer with strong Node.js expertise and hands-on experience in integrating and building AI-powered systems. This role goes beyond traditional backend development—you will be responsible for designing scalable APIs and embedding intelligence into our products using modern AI/ML services.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js
• Build and manage high-performance RESTful APIs
• Architect and integrate AI-powered features (LLMs, automation, data pipelines) into backend services
• Work with third-party APIs including AI platforms (OpenAI, etc.) and SaaS tools
• Design and optimize database systems (SQL-based)
• Implement efficient data processing pipelines for AI workflows
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability and performance
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and AI teams to deliver intelligent features

• 3–5+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js
• Solid understanding of REST API design and system architecture
• Good knowledge of OOP and software design principles
• Proven experience integrating AI/ML APIs (LLMs, NLP, automation tools, etc.)
• Experience working with SQL databases
• Familiarity with asynchronous processing, queues, and scalable architectures
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
• Immediate joiners preferred (0–30 days notice period)

• Experience with AI frameworks (LangChain, vector databases, embeddings, RAG pipelines)
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs or similar LLM providers
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, serverless architectures)
• Understanding of prompt engineering and AI system design
• Basic familiarity with frontend technologies
