Senior Technical Consultant – Backup Infrastructure (m/f/x)

Remote – Germany or France | Full-time

Our client, a globally recognized IT and digital engineering company, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant with a focus on Backup Infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization that supports global enterprises with critical IT infrastructure, ERP systems, and digital transformation projects.

As a recruitment partner, we are supporting them in finding top talent to strengthen their infrastructure consulting team in the DACH region. This role is fully remote within Germany or France.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and manage high-availability backup and virtualization infrastructures in complex enterprise environments.
• Work on major IT transformation projects, including data centre migration, cloud integration, and infrastructure automation.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to enterprise clients and act as a trusted advisor on technical backup and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a flat, agile structure across international locations

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Informatics or completed vocational training in IT.
• Strong hands-on experience with backup solutions such as:
• DELL/EMC Power Protect, Networker, Data Domain, Elastic Cloud Storage
• Veeam and backup-to-tape systems in hybrid cloud environments
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and consulting skills; confident in customer-facing roles.
• Fluency in German and English (English is the team’s working language)
