BESS Construction Manager

Are you a hands-on Project Manager with a proven track record in PV and BESS projects? We are seeking an experienced Senior BESS & Solar Project Manager to lead and support renewable energy projects across Germany.

About the Role:

You will manage all phases of BESS and PV projects - from site establishment to final completion - ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with top-quality standards. Your expertise will bridge communication between EPC contractors, project sponsors, utilities, and local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead construction of BESS/PV plants and ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Monitor project progress, manage engineering revisions, and control budgets and cash flows.
• Coordinate with Utilities on grid connections, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure quality implementation of works.
• Manage logistics of supplied materials and all local stakeholder interactions.
• Identify and proactively mitigate potential project risks.
• Prepare and issue periodic project reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields.
• 4+ years of project management experience in the renewable energy sector.
• Electrical licensing (related to Solar/BESS/HV substations) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, permitting, and PV/BESS regulations.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Germany; occasional meetings in Milan and Germany.
