Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaster’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. This full-time, onsite role (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday) offers the chance to provide vital behavioral support in a school setting.
You’ll work closely on teams dedicated to de-escalation, crisis intervention, and individualized student care, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure positive outcomes.Key qualifications and experience:Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification required (must provide confirmation upon application)Previous school-based BCBA experience preferredDemonstrated expertise in de-escalation and participation in crisis intervention teamsIn-depth knowledge and hands-on application of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and development of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)Experience supporting students with severe disabilities and autismAbility to work fully onsite throughout the school yearIn this dynamic environment, your responsibilities will include:Conducting comprehensive FBAs and crafting targeted BSPs for studentsCollaborating with educational teams to develop and implement behavioral goals for IEPsCoaching school staff and providing ongoing behavioral supportsSupporting robust data collection for ongoing program improvementParticipating as a key member of the school crisis teamAs part of this contract assignment, you will participate in interviews via Microsoft Teams and work at a site known for dedication to student growth and staff collaboration.
