Brazilian Portuguese Language Teacher (100% Online)

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate teacher of Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PFL) to join our team in a professional, welcoming and dynamic environment.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Portuguese, Teaching, Linguistics or related areas. - Native Portuguese speaker with advanced level English. - Reliable internet connection and a quiet space for online teaching. - Familiarity with digital teaching tools (Zoom, Google Drive, etc.). - Minimum of 1 year’s experience teaching Portuguese as a Foreign/Second Language. - Punctual, committed, creative and able to adapt materials and methodologies. - Strong communication skills, patience and the ability to motivate adult learners.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Deliver online lessons (small groups and one-to-one). - Prepare and/or update teaching materials under the guidance of the Academic Director. - Monitor student progress, keeping basic attendance and progress records. - Contribute to pedagogical meetings and, occasionally, to cultural projects and support materials.

**Additional information**:

- Preferred availability: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2pm to 6pm (with the possibility of more hours in the future). - Format: Fully online. - Target audience: Adult learners. - Contract type: Freelance. - Expected start date: 01/09/2025.
