Job Description
Role
Technical Business Analyst - Provide analytical insights and define requirements/processes for deploying solutions throughout the development lifecycle and move-to-production systems.
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years of experience in a technical business analysis role, including process documentation and data mapping
- At least 4 years working within an Agile methodology
- Understanding of TPF development is a plus
- Experience with JIRA is a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Skills in elicitation, documentation, and analysis techniques
- Effective communication with technical and business stakeholders, both on-site and remote
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
- Understanding of technical development processes and terminology
- Experience in deploying third-party solutions to replace existing home-grown solutions is highly desirable
Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and document current and future process and data flows, manage source control of software artifacts, and coordinate delivery of executables for testing and production, ensuring integration with existing systems.
Engage with technical end-users, including TPF and systems developers, load control, technical support teams, and major customers, to facilitate system activities.
Create detailed functional specifications and user stories; collaborate with development teams to review solutions and address technical gaps.
Train users on new processes and tools, provide ongoing support, and follow up on user requests.
Promote automation, integration, and best practices in system development and deployment.
Work effectively with key customers to develop modern tools for source control and move-to-production processes.
