HR Data Analyst Location: Charlotte, NC (Plaza Building) Work Arrangement: Hybrid preferred (Wednesday & Thursday in-office + 1 optional day; virtual considered) Position Overview: We are seeking an HR Data Analyst to join our HR Technology and Analytics team. This role serves as a key liaison between HR business partners and IT, supporting HR data security, workforce data management, and enterprise reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex HR systems and data sets.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and triage incoming data requests through the Service Hub tool Route requests to appropriate team members and fulfill data requests as needed Perform daily tie-outs between Workday and the Workforce Data Hub to ensure data accuracy Investigate and resolve data discrepancies by asking clarifying questions and validating assumptions Support HR data security audits, including access and permissions reviews Write test scripts and execute system testing transactions Assist with HR data integrations across systems (Workday, FieldGlass, MyTime, etc.) Support enterprise HR reporting and analytics needs Maintain data accuracy and integrity across HR platforms Required Skills & Experience: Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning abilities Process-oriented mindset with high attention to detail Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required) Experience working with HR data or workforce management systems Ability to follow direction while proactively asking thoughtful questions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Technical Skills: SQL Workday SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) Business Objects Power BI Experience with data analysis and reporting tools Education Requirements: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in any field. Technical degrees are not required. Candidates from diverse academic backgrounds (e.g., business, law, etc.) with strong analytical capabilities are encouraged to apply.
