Business Analyst

Product Analyst | Financial Services Technology

Were looking for a Product Analyst to join a technology-focused financial services team supporting product delivery and business transformation initiatives. This contract?to?hire role is ideal for candidates with 24 years of experience in product or business analysis, strong Agile exposure, and a passion for translating customer and business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

What Youll Do:

• Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to document product goals, customer needs, and desired outcomes
• Clarify scope, document decisions, and support day?to?day execution to keep delivery teams aligned
• Analyze current?state and future?state business processes using a business?process?first approach
• Decompose processes into capabilities and functional requirements to support process reengineering
• Draft, refine, and manage features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with delivery teams
• Support backlog refinement by ensuring items are well?defined, ready for estimation, and outcome?aligned
• Incorporate customer pain points, usability insights, and industry trends into requirements and solution design
• Collaborate cross?functionally with UX, Development, Architecture, Data, and Change Management teams
• Communicate status, risks, insights, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership
• Support testing activities including user story validation, UAT support, risk and controls documentation, and Day 1 readiness

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 24 years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, product operations, or technology delivery support
• Hands?on experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, and testing artifacts
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) with backlog refinement and requirements management
• Strong analytical, problem?solving, and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate working sessions
• Comfort operating in fast?paced, ambiguous environments while managing multiple priorities
• Prior experience in mortgage, real estate, or financial services is required
