Role: Loan IQ Business Analyst
Location: Irving, TX & Tampa, FL
Job Description
Role Overview
The LoanIQ Business Analyst acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for LoanIQ, bridging business requirements and technical implementation. This role focuses on analyzing, documenting, and optimizing processes related to commercial lending and LoanIQ functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with stakeholders to capture business requirements for LoanIQ enhancements or new implementations.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
- System Expertise
- Act as the LoanIQ expert ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs.
- Configure LoanIQ tables, deal setup, accruals, fees, payments, and general ledger accounting.
- Support LoanIQ migrations and upgrade projects.
- Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process optimizations within LoanIQ.
- Drive prioritization of LoanIQ feature development and backlog management.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience
- Overall 10+ years of Business analyst experience with minimum 5+ years as a Business Analyst with hands-on LoanIQ experience (10+ years preferred for expert roles).
- Strong understanding of loan servicing processes and LoanIQ data model.
- Prior experience in LoanIQ migrations and table configuration.
- Technical good to have Skills
- Working Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and data mapping.
- Familiarity with LoanIQ SDK, APIs, and batch execution framework.
- Knowledge of XML/JSON and integration with other banking systems.
- Domain Knowledge
- Deep expertise in commercial lending lifecycle.
- Exposure to capital markets and regulatory reporting (e.g., CCAR, Liquidity).
