Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong UI/UX design capabilities.
This role will focus on translating Blueprint-level functional capabilities into detailed UI/UX wireframes and interaction designs, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and product teams to define a modern, intuitive, and scalable user experience .
Key Responsibilities
1. UI/UX Requirements & Wireframing
- Lead the creation of detailed wireframes, screen flows, and interaction models for the PRISM application
- Translate functional features, workflows, and business rules into intuitive UI/UX designs
- Develop low- and mid-fidelity wireframes progressing toward high-fidelity designs where appropriate
- Ensure alignment between user experience, business workflows, and system capabilities
2. Business & Workflow Collaboration
- Partner directly with Revenue Management, Inventory Planning, and Operations teams to refine workflows
- Facilitate working sessions to validate:
- Inventory management flows
- Planning and forecasting interactions
- Scheduling and automation workflows
- Capture detailed user journeys, personas, and use cases
3. Design Translation from Blueprint
- Take existing Blueprint artifacts (200+ user stories, feature definitions, SDD) and evolve them into:
- Screen-level designs
- Interaction patterns
- UI component behaviors
- Ensure traceability from features → workflows → wireframes → user stories
4. UI Standards & Design System Alignment
- Align designs with Marriott DTT UI/UX standards and enterprise design systems
- Define reusable UI patterns and component libraries for scalability
- Ensure consistency across modules (Inventory, Planning, Scheduling, Dashboard, etc.)
5. Collaboration with Architecture & Engineering
- Work closely with:
- Solution Architects
- Integration teams
- Front-end developers
- Ensure wireframes reflect:
- API-driven interactions
- Real-time data flows (ACRS integration)
- Role-based access and permissions
6. Documentation & Handoff
- Produce clear design artifacts to support development:
- Annotated wireframes
- Interaction specifications
- UX behavior documentation
- Support backlog refinement and handoff to development teams
Required Experience
- 7–10+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or UX-focused BA
- Proven experience delivering UI/UX wireframes for complex enterprise applications
- Strong experience with:
- Workflow-driven applications (not just static UI)
- Data-heavy systems (tables, grids, dashboards)
- Experience working in Agile / SDLC environments
UI/UX Skills (Critical)
- Hands-on experience with tools such as:
- Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Ability to design:
- Complex data grids and planning interfaces
- Dashboard-driven applications
- Role-based user experiences
- Strong understanding of:
- UX best practices
- Interaction design
- Usability and accessibility
Technical & Domain Understanding (Preferred)
- Experience with:
- API-driven applications
- Microservices-based architectures
- Real-time systems
- Familiarity with:
- Inventory, reservation, or revenue management systems (hospitality is a plus)
- Ability to understand and translate:
- Data models
- Integration points (ACRS, EDW, etc.)
Soft Skills
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work with both business and technical teams
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and evolving requirements
- Strong communication and storytelling ability
