Job Description
The Business Analyst plays a critical role in turning data into actionable insights that drive sales growth, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic decision-making across AlEn USA’s commercial organization. Key Responsibilities: • Sales & Performance Analysis: Analyze syndicated, customer POS, and internal data to identify trends, diagnose root causes of performance gaps, and uncover growth opportunities across categories, channels, and customers. • Forecasting & Scenario Planning: Support Sales teams with predictive modeling and volume projections to improve forecast accuracy and guide promotional and investment decisions. • Reporting & Dashboards: Build and maintain dynamic dashboards and scorecards in tools like Power BI, Excel, and Access to track key metrics (e.g., distribution, pricing, trade effectiveness, retailer KPIs). Ensure data integrity, automation, and accessibility. • Growth Strategy Support: Translate insights into clear recommendations that shape customer plans, trade investments, pricing strategies, and innovation launches.
Participate in building compelling business cases for sales initiatives. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Customer Selling, Trade Marketing, Category Development, and Finance teams to align insights with execution. Ensure all stakeholders are working from a unified, data-informed view of the business. • Ad Hoc Projects & Strategic Reviews: Provide analytical support for key leadership reviews, customer joint business plans, and strategic growth initiatives. Assist in building monthly business reviews and quarterly planning inputs.
Qualifications & Experience: (CPG) Consumer Package Goods experience preffered Minimum of 3 years performing Analytics in either Sales, Finance or Category roles Advanced Excel and Power BI skills Strong Business Acumen with the ability to turn data into stories and strategies Strong communication skills, collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
