Senior Account Executive – Senior Business Development
A new senior business development role has opened due to growth and new 2025 budget. Rainier Recruiting has partnered with a national IT staffing and IT services company who is seeking a motivated and client-focused Senior Account Executive to join a growing team supporting customers across the West Coast. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in business development and a proven track record in the staffing or recruiting industry.
The role focuses on building new client partnerships, expanding existing relationships, and driving revenue growth through consultative, relationship-based sales.
Compensation
Base salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (negotiable based on experience) plus commission, with total OTE of $130,000 - $150,000 in the first year. Commissions are uncapped.
Location
Remote, but candidates must be in WA state.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and market intelligence.
- Understand client challenges and tailor customized staffing and workforce solutions to meet their needs.
- Cultivate and sustain long‑term partnerships with clients, hiring managers, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to ensure successful delivery of talent and services.
- Lead contract negotiations and close agreements that create value for both clients and the company.
- Stay current on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in staffing or recruiting sales, preferably in the technology sector.
- Demonstrated success in developing new business and consistently achieving sales goals.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with decision‑makers at all levels.
