Job Description
The core objective is to build non‑existent structure and drive sustainable growth for brands Can‑Am (ATVs/SSVs) and Sea‑Doo (Personal Watercraft) within the Brazilian market. This involves not just selling products, but building the infrastructure (experiences outfitters, rental operators, training schools and partnerships) that allows the brand to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Strategic market expansion
- Outfitters/ Rental/ Experiences Network Development: Identifying and prospecting new partners to open operations in untapped or high‑potential regions (playgrounds).
- Market analysis: Analyzing regional demographics and economic trends to ensure BRP has representation in the right areas.
- New segments: Leading the “Playground” strategy—finding facilities and locations where customers can use BRP products
- Partnership & relationship management
- Onboarding: Evaluating potential business applicants, including their financial health, operational capacity, and alignment with BRP standards.
- Government & regulatory liaison: Following up with agencies like Contran (Traffic) and Navy Regulatory Agency (DPC) for marine products to ensure compliance and lobby for favorable business environments.
- Key stakeholder engagement: Building long‑term relationships with current and new stakeholders (internal & external) to integrate BRP products into new projects.
- Project management & governance
- Implementation: Developing governance models for new ventures and ensuring projects are executed within budget and timelines.
- Internal areas collaboration: Assisting the commercial, marketing, network development, public affairs and other team and agencies in tailoring promotional strategies for specific projects (e.g., trail systems or nautical tourism).
- Performance tracking: Monitoring KPIs for business opportunities, reporting results to the regional leadership in Campinas and PMO (global HQ).
- Operational & tactical activities
- Commercial proposals: Drafting and presenting high‑impact business plans to potential investors and partners, but also to Management, proposing new opportunities aligned to BRP´s purposes.
- Training and events: Organizing product demonstrations, events and training sessions for new outfitters to ensure they understand the BRP DNA.
- Field work: Frequent travel (often up to 50%) to visit potential sites, existing dealers, and industry trade shows.
Requirements
- Languages: native/fluent Portuguese and advanced/fluent English (essential for reporting to the HQ).
- Experience: Previous background in OEM, dealer networks, or the automotive/powersports industry.
- Tools: proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus), Excel, Powerpoint and data visualization tools like Power BI or others.
