Business Development SpecialistLincolnshire (Office-Based)Permanent Full-Time£35,000 + Uncapped CommissionRise10 Recruitment is proud to be working on behalf of a growing and innovative engineering and automation business in Lincolnshire. We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to join their Aftersales team, playing a key role in driving repeat business, increasing service and support revenue, and strengthening long-term customer relationships.This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building value from existing client relationships.Key Responsibilities:Aftersales Revenue Generation:Proactively engage existing customers via phone and email to identify aftersales opportunities (service contracts, spare parts, upgrades)Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion ratesBuild and manage a strong pipeline of aftersales opportunitiesIdentify and target customers approaching the end of warranties or agreementsMaintain accurate CRM records of activity and pipeline progressStrategy & Initiatives:Develop and implement initiatives to grow recurring revenue and customer retentionIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across services, parts, and support packagesAnalyse the customer base to prioritise high-value opportunitiesReport on pipeline performance and aftersales activityCustomer Relationships:Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationshipsAct as a key point of contact for aftersales enquiriesCollaborate with internal technical and engineering teams to deliver accurate proposalsSkills & Experience:Experience in aftersales, account management, internal sales, or a customer-facing sales roleConfident and proactive telephone manner, including cold calling and follow-upsStrong commercial awareness and ability to identify revenue opportunitiesExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systemsSelf-motivated, target-driven, and proactiveDesirableBackground in engineering, manufacturing, or automation environmentsExperience with service contracts, maintenance agreements, or spare parts salesExposure to aftersales strategy, customer retention, or recurring revenue modelsWhat's on Offer:20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (25 days holiday after year 1)Free parking with electric charging availabilityDeath in Service (2x salary)Bike to work schemePerformance-related bonus / commission structureSupportive and collaborative team environmentClear opportunities for career progressionThe chance to play a key role in business growth and customer successIf you're a driven and commercially savvy professional looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
