Job Description ● Takes orders for dine-in and to go with exceptional hospitality. Must be willing to learn Georgian & Eastern European dishes and be ready to explain/answer any questions. ● Operates cash register/pos system ● Ensures accuracy of cash drops & maintaining cash drawer ● Serves guest their food and drink orders served either dine in or to-go ● Keeps orderly station in front of house operation before during and after service ● Maintain front of house retail display and take inventory ● Maintain & apply branding/stickers to all to-go containers, pizza boxes, bags, etc. ● General preparation of items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. ● General cooking of food items by using methods specified in recipes and kitchen standards. ● Set up workstations with proper tools and mise en place according to kitchen standards. ● Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies. ● Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift. ● Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. ● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications ● 1 or 2 years relevant experience a plus. ● Awareness of basic kitchen practices, e.g. FIFO and labeling, etc. ● Dumpling making and pleating is a huge plus ● Ability to perform basic kitchen prep tasks such as chopping, peeling, cleaning ● Cleanliness in and out of the kitchen ● Ability to read and follow recipes set in place by the chef ● Punctuality
