Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Category Manager - FMCG to manage the buying and category management of our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) segment. Key Responsibilities:

• Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement category strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, negotiate, and maintain strong relationships with FMCG suppliers and vendors.
• Product Assortment Planning: Curate and manage the product mix, ensuring the right balance of products that align with customer needs and trends.
• Pricing and Promotion: Develop competitive pricing strategies and implement effective promotional campaigns to boost sales.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in FMCG category management or related roles, preferably in a supermarket or hypermarket setting.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Proven track record in category planning, product selection, and sales growth.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop strategic insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
