Job Description
Reporting to the Channel Project Manager, the Channel Marketing Coordinator’s primary focus will be to coordinate and support channel projects. This position is a stepping-stone for future potential growth opportunity within the organization.
The Channel Marketing Coordinator helps create and uphold the brand image and assist in the implementation of the channel strategies.
The coordinator will ensure proper support and communication between the sales, planning, production, and marketing teams. Be a bridge between sales and the other functions to achieve success through improved Customer Experience. This role is an important one, as they play a critical role in ensuring that the company’s channel partners are successful in promoting the company’s products.
This is measured in market share gains and sales growth.
Primary responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management to support product line review preparations;
- Coordinate customer roll-out and product knowledge trainings where necessary ;
- Collaborate with Data Management processes to update data to the customer through PIM; this means support the creation of direct channels and share the information back and forth between internal data team and customers.
- Assist the sales team with customer initiatives by providing them with tools and support they need to promote effectively the company’s products.
- Plan and coordinate customer shows & events;
- Monitor customer display program, calendar of activities and in store training;
- Request and follow up on marketing needs;
- Collect & maintain market and customer data, including flyer advertisements & pricing updates;
- Coordinate with internal customer care, supply chain, marketing and outside vendor partners on delivering required display materials and other merchandising tools on time;
- Coordinate with logistics and operations team to ensure all display orders are shipped on time;
- Contribute to understanding how we win by preparing, collecting & analyzing data;
- Identify and communicate opportunity gaps;
- Analyze merchandising tools and propose new strategies to increase visibility and product sales;
- Lead the implementation of new merchandising concepts;
- Identify and develop methods for keeping communication lines open across sales & channel;
- Perform other relevant duties as required.
- Manage Product shipment schedule with Operations Teams
Profile
- 1-2 year of relevant experience;
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.

- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for both internal and external clients;
- Ability to manage multiple projects;
- Ability to prioritize files;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams;
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Computer proficient in Word, Excel (Advance), Power Point, Outlook.
- Familiarity with SalesForce, Smartsheet and SAP would be an asset
