Job Description: Chef De Cuisine
Location: The Carriage House
Reports To: Executive Chef
Status: Full Time (Hourly)
Summary: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cook and kitchen, ensuring that all food served meets the highest quality standards.
Duties:
- Ensuring that all food meets the highest quality standards and is served on time
- Stock ingredients and equipment and place orders as needed
- Kitchen staff training
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- Evaluates and resolves food quality issues as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2-3 years’ experience in a chef position
- Must have 1-2 years banquet experience
- Must have strong culinary knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to handle pressure in high volume environment
- Responsible for production and execution of weddings and events
- Experience with managing inventories and stock
- Passion for creating food that delights and attracts guests
