Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Site Engineer – Execution (Greenfield Project)

Location: Project Site (Gujrat)

Experience: 5 Years

Industry Preference: Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Industrial / EPC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Site Engineer to manage on-site execution activities for large-scale greenfield projects in the Oil & Gas / Refinery / Industrial sector. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality construction, adherence to timelines, and compliance with safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute civil construction activities including foundations, RCC structures, paving, drainage systems, and structural works.
• Interpret and implement construction drawings, IFC drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure alignment with project schedule and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Supervise manpower, equipment, and materials at site.
• Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during execution.
• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), site records, and documentation.
• Coordinate with client/consultant for inspections, approvals, and clearances.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure quality and timely completion of work.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices in industrial/plant projects.
• Experience in greenfield project execution (mandatory).
• Familiarity with standards such as IS codes, ASTM, ACI, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs.
• Good understanding of project planning and scheduling.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in EPC companies handling Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical projects.
• Exposure to heavy industrial structures like pipe racks, equipment foundations, tank foundations, etc.
• Experience working on large-scale greenfield sites.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work at remote project sites.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
