Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analysis & design of Solar panel supporting structures including fastener using Indian & International codes using STAAD Pro software.
• Analysis and design of RCC and Steel structure with various codes and standard Indian as well as international.
• Estimation of BOQ and preparation of drawing. Hands on experience in AutoCAD will be added advantage.
• Site infra structure works, Road & Drainage Design for Solar PV plant.
• Corrosion report site specific, Estimating the zinc degradation based on desktop study.
• Customer facing on product/project engineering related queries and Solar single axis tracker site installation queries.
• Detailed slope analysis, identifying the grading areas using civil 3D Software. Grading works for Tracker installation including block tracker and single axis tracker.
• Candidate should interact with client and site team to resolve the technical and project related issues. Review of MQP and FQP for the Civil works.
• PEB structure design and drawing review.
• Discussion with All Stakeholders involved in project.

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. M.Tech – Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 4-12+ yrs of experience in Design Engineering of Renewable Projects (Solar or Wind or Both) with consulting environment.

Required Skills

• Solar module mounting structures / Tracker Structures.
• Use of Civil 3D Software & Modelling, Assembling and Drafting.
• New Product Design and Development.
• Having Knowledge in Sheet metal fabrication.
• STAAD Pro. Software.
• Detail Design of Solar power plant layouts.
• Solar Projects detail engineering.
• Project BOM and BOQ.
• Performing Dynamic analysis for structures. Knowledge on Floating Solar & Switchyard Structures will have added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Preparation of Technical specifications for various Packages.
• Preparation of Construction drawings for Buildings and Equipment structures.
• Design of Foundation for Solar PV Plant.
• Preparation of Construction drawings for Power Transformer, Substation & Switchyard Structures.
• Knowledge of Electrical protection and control schemes.
• Design and analysis for HT Panel sheds and LT panel sheds.
