Hiring: Civil Procurement Engineer - EPC Civil Construction
Site Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand ️ Project: Commercial Construction - Medical Hospital Building Experience: 3-8 Years
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Civil Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for a large-scale Medical Hospital Building project. The role involves end-to-end procurement of civil construction materials, vendor management, cost control, and ensuring timely material availability in line with EPC project requirements. Coordination with MEP teams will be required to align overall project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end procurement for civil construction packages in EPC projectsSource and procure civil materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, RMC, finishing materials, and formwork systemsPrepare and review BOQs, RFQs, techno-commercial comparisons, and rate analysisFinalize vendors through price negotiations and technical/commercial complianceCoordinate with Planning, QS, Site, MEP, and Stores teams for material requirements and delivery schedulesEnsure timely material delivery as per the construction programMonitor budget compliance and cost control for procurement packagesMaintain procurement documentation including POs, contracts, GRNs, and vendor recordsSupport vendor development, evaluation, and performance tracking
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil EngineeringExperience: 3-8 years in Civil Procurement for EPC / building construction projectsStrong exposure to commercial building projects (hospital/institutional experience preferred but not mandatory)Working knowledge of coordination with MEP teams for integrated project executionStrong negotiation, coordination, and communication skillsFamiliarity with ERP / procurement tracking systems is an added advantage
