Responsibilities
- Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
- Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- Provide primary care providers and staff with regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, including recommendations for team-based care.
- Implement psychoeducational classes to target high-frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
- Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet education and experience requirements described below. Experience may include paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work. Your resume must clearly describe relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, transcripts will be required.
Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist:
Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. This definition is typical of work at the next lower grade level (GS-12).
Substitution of education for experience is not permitted for this position; qualification must be met with experience alone.
Licensure: This position requires a current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently in the United States.
Education
Foreign education must be evaluated for equivalence to a U.S. education program or full credit given for courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
