At Aveox, Inc., this position plays a key role in producing precision parts for advanced brushless DC motors, motion control systems, and power conversion technologies - where quality, traceability, and reliability are non-negotiable. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC lathes (2-, 3-, 5-, and 6-axis) Create first-article parts from prints and prototypes Perform live tooling operations and mill-turn work Select tooling, set offsets, and verify workholding Machine print-to-part components to tight tolerances Self-inspect first articles and complex parts using precision measurement tools Ensure full traceability per AS9100 standards Detect and report nonconforming materials or process issues Collaborate with purchasing and vendors for tooling and material needs Perform preventative maintenance on machines Work independently with minimal supervision in a high-precision environment Machines, Controls & Software You'll work with equipment such as: Machines: Multi-axis CNC lathes with live tooling (mill-turn capability)
Controls: Fanuc-type controls common in multi-axis turning environments
CAM Software: GibbsCAM (required)
