Job DescriptionJob Description The CNC Machinist works to ensure all machines on the shop floor are running correctly, while determining any offset adjustments needed. The CNC Machinist must maintain a high-quality consciousness. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESCandidate must be able to perform set-ups on various CNC lathe machines such as: Haas, Brother, Takamaz.Candidate must be capable of maintaining tolerances and drawing and specification requirements and adjusting CNC equipment as required.Familiar with Fanuc and Haas ControlsMultitask between production and R&D projectsPerform off-set changes to machinesLight maintenance to CNC machinesWork independently with little to no supervisionOther duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTSCandidate must possess a minimum of 0-1 years of related experience in CNC machiningHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to measure using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devicesAttention to detailAbility to work under limited supervisionPHYSICAL DEMANDSThis position requires extended periods of standing.
