Cnc Machinist

Seeking a US Veteran, Guardsman, Reservist, and/or Military Spouse for a CNC Machinist. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for machining and measuring components, maintaining machines, and ensuring all work meets quality standards while supporting cost-effective manufacturing operations.

Pay: $32.00 - 46.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Fridays: OFF

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

• Setup machines for production components
• Machine/fabricate standard and special components
• Perform continuous inspection of components while in process
• Complete secondary operations as required
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while following all safety standards
• Complete machinery maintenance and repairs as required
• Maintain stock of shop tooling
• Record notations of necessary updates or changes to drawings
• Ensure production schedules and ship dates are met consistently
• Inform management of potential problems and assist in implementing solutions
• Supervise and train employees when necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned including attending meetings and trainings

Requirements:

• US Veteran, Guardsman, Reservist, and/or Military Spouse preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience or related training
• Experience with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and email communication
• Experience with Mazak machines with live tooling
• Mazatrol experience required
• Knowledge of conversational programming
• Machine setup experience required
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and written instructions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
