What We're Looking For\n

We are seeking a CNC Operators to support day-to-day production across a modern CNC machining environment. This role focuses on basic setup and operation of CNC mills and turning centers producing precision components.

\n

The shop is predominantly OKUMA, with a mix of vertical and horizontal machining centers (3-axis through 5-axis), as well as turning centers equipped with sub-spindles, dual turrets, live tooling, and Y-axis. There is also exposure to multi-tasking machines with B-axis heads, Swiss machines (Tsugami and Tornos), and Seibu Wire EDM, depending on workload and shift.

This role is available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, with pay ranging from $22–$35/hour, depending on experience, machine capability, and shift. This is a good opportunity for a machinist who wants steady work, exposure to a wide range of CNC equipment, and a clear path to build skills in a well-equipped shop.

---The Work You’ll Be Doing
\n

In this role, you will:

\n

\nOperate multi-axis and multi-tasking CNC mills and turning centers to produce tight-tolerance aerospace components\nRead, interpret, and work from complex customer drawings, specifications, and work instructions\nApply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 to ensure parts meet dimensional and geometric requirements\nPerform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using standard shop measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gages, etc.)\nWork closely with engineering, programming, and quality teams to troubleshoot dimensional or process issues\nIdentify and address tooling, fixturing, or process opportunities to improve part quality and cycle time\nMaintain clean, organized workstations and follow all AS9100 quality and safety standards\n\n
