What You'll Do
You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining CNC equipment and industrial systems, including:
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical failures
- Disassembling equipment, identifying root causes, and rebuilding systems
- Interpreting complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Working with:
- PLC logic (ladder diagrams)
- Machine programming basics (M-code/G-code)
- Performing electrical testing and diagnostics
- Troubleshooting printed circuit boards and control systems
- Adjusting machines to meet precise operating specifications
- Supporting preventive maintenance and continuous improvement efforts
- Escalating complex or unusual issues to leadership when needed
What You Bring
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman-level OR 3+ years CNC maintenance/repair experience
- Strong experience with:
- Ladder logic / PLC troubleshooting
- Motor controls and industrial schematics
- Blueprint reading
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred:
- 4+ years CNC maintenance experience
- Background in machining environments
- Experience with hydraulics systems
- Associate degree in electronics or military technical experience
Location & Relocation
- Based onsite in Syracuse, NY
