CNC Press Brake Operator

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team in North Essex.This role is ideal for someone with strong sheet metal fabrication experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment where precision and quality are essential.You'll play a key part in the manufacturing process, setting and operating CNC press brake machinery to produce high-quality components to exact specifications.Key responsibilities include:Setting and operating CNC press brake machinesWorking accurately from technical drawings and fabrication sketchesInterpreting engineering drawings and working to tight tolerancesCalculating blank sizes and understanding bending allowancesAdjusting machinery to maintain production accuracy and consistencyMaintaining a safe and organised working environmentWorking closely with the wider production team to meet deadlines and quality standardsTo be successful in this role, you should have:A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Press Brake Setter / OperatorStrong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processesThe ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawingsExperience calculating flat/blank sizesExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipThe ability to work independently and within a team environmentThe successful applicant can expect:A full-time, permanent position - 40 hours pw, 7:30-4pmMonday to Friday working hoursOvertime opportunitiesSupportive team environmentOpportunity to work on varied and interesting projectsIf you're an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator looking for your next long-term opportunity, apply today.
