Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Commercial Drywall and Framing Mechanic with experience in carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall to support projects at Kings Bay Naval Base, GA, and nearby locations.Our company operates as a full-service design-build contractor, delivering accelerated commercial construction projects for both public and private sector clients. A large portion of our work supports Department of Defense initiatives.This position is hands-on and essential to our field operations. You will complete a variety of physical and technical carpentry tasks, working with both hand and power tools to construct and finish interior spaces.
Maintaining a safe, organized, and productive job site will be a key part of your responsibilities.Requirements:High school diploma or GED requiredAt least 2 years of relevant commercial construction or trade experience (or equivalent)Prior work on government or military construction projects is a plusExperience with metal stud framing systems, drywall installation, and related materialsProven ability to frame and install steel stud systems is requiredExperience with acoustical ceiling tile (ACT) installation is preferredCPR and First Aid certifications are preferredCompensation:
$26.00-$30.00 per hourBenefits:
