Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A respected regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing Albany office. Responsibilities

• Handle commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and support litigation strategy
• Manage discovery, document review, and e-discovery processes
• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on case development and strategy

Qualifications

• 2–10 years of commercial or business litigation experience
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Experience with motion practice, discovery, pleadings, and trial prep
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the New York State Bar is required

Preferred Background

Experience in complex commercial litigation, business disputes, shareholder disputes, contract litigation, or financial litigation is highly valued.
