The firm has a strong focus on client care, professional standards, and efficient matter progression, supported by a collaborative and team-oriented working culture.RoleA varied support role providing direct assistance to a fee-earner to ensure the smooth and efficient running of their caseload. The position involves a high level of client interaction, administrative support, and document preparation, requiring strong organisation, communication skills, and initiative.ResponsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact for clients in the absence of the appointed lawyerHandle incoming telephone calls, take messages, and follow up proactively where requiredBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal/external contactsProvide professional client support via telephone and in person, in line with client care standardsDraft correspondence and legal documents using a case management systemProduce high-quality documents through audio and copy typingProgress cases within remit as directed by the supervising lawyerOpen and close client files in accordance with firm proceduresProvide general administrative support to the fee-earner and wider teamManage diaries, arrange meetings, and schedule appointmentsMaintain accurate filing systems and ensure records are kept up to dateCarry out copying, scanning, and document organisation tasksSupport colleagues and assist with wider team requirements where neededAssist with training of new employees when requiredMaintain strict confidentiality of client and firm informationBenefitsExposure to a busy, client-facing legal environmentOpportunity to develop legal and administrative experience within a supportive teamStructured training and ongoing professional developmentStrong emphasis on teamwork and collaborationExperience working closely with fee-earners on active client mattersClear opportunity to build a long-term career within a legal practice
