Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob SummaryThe Country Club Restaurant Maître d’ oversees front-of-house food and beverage operations, ensuring high service standards, operational efficiency, and profitable performance. The role supervises two Food & Beverage Supervisors who manages beverage cart services, the Hole-in-One outlet, and golf tournament award catering through Iguanas Restaurant.The Maître d’ is responsible for service execution, labor and payroll control, revenue growth initiatives, and employee engagement, while coordinating closely with culinary and golf operations to deliver seamless member and tournament experiences. Education & ExperienceAt least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 2 or more years of related experience.
Must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations.Safety and Food Handling Certification preferred.Valid Alcohol Training Certification (TIPS) preferred.Valid Health Certificate (including throat culture results) as required by the Puerto Rico Department of Health.Fluent in English and Spanish languages required.
